Terms of Service
Last updated October 30, 2026.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Project Artemis LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“VersoPro”, “we”, “us”), which runs versopro.com and the sites hosted on it (the “Service”). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 to sign up. At launch, plans are sold only to customers in the United States.
2. The Service
VersoPro gives photographers portfolio websites and private client galleries for sharing, proofing, and delivering photos.
3. Your account
Keep your account information accurate and your email account secure, since you sign in with a link or code sent to it. You’re responsible for everything done through your account, including by editors you add. Don’t share or transfer your account without our permission. If ownership of an account is disputed, we may suspend it until the dispute is resolved. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect someone else has access to your account.
4. Your content
You own your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, resize, and display it, only to provide the Service and as your settings allow. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, including permission from the people in your photos where the law requires it.
Anything you make public can be viewed, saved, and shared by others, and we can’t guarantee your content won’t be copied without your consent. You’re responsible for keeping your own copies of your work.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, infringes anyone’s rights, sexually exploits minors, was made or shared without the subject’s consent, or harasses, threatens, or demeans people.
- Send spam or unwanted messages.
- Upload viruses or other harmful code.
- Get into other accounts or systems, get around security or plan limits, or access the Service other than through its own pages and tools.
- Store files unrelated to your photography, or use the Service in a way that harms it for others.
We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these rules.
6. Your clients
Your arrangements with your clients are between you and them. You’re responsible for your clients’ information: use the names and email addresses you collect through VersoPro only for your work with those clients, don’t add them to marketing lists without their consent, and follow the email and privacy laws that apply to you, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL. Clients may use your galleries only as you allow.
7. Plans and payment
Fees are listed at versopro.com in US dollars, plus any applicable taxes, and are paid in advance through Stripe, after any free trial. We may offer free trials at our discretion, and we may change or end them at any time; each person or business gets one trial. Plans renew automatically until you cancel from the admin. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change applies to your plan. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
If a payment fails or is charged back, we may put your account on hold. While it’s on hold, you can still sign in to pay or download your work. If the balance isn’t paid, we may close the account.
8. Closing your account
You can close your site at any time from the admin. A closed site goes offline right away. For 30 days after closing, you can still download your work or reopen the site; after that, we may delete it permanently. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service at risk, and where reasonable, we’ll tell you first.
9. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on VersoPro infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: the work you believe is infringed; the material you claim infringes it and where it appears; your contact information; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you’re the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your signature. We remove infringing material and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
10. Our property
VersoPro’s software, name, and logo belong to us, and these terms don’t give you any right to them beyond using the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything. We aren’t responsible for third-party sites or services linked from VersoPro.
11. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your misuse of the Service.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version with an updated date and give notice of significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Union County, New Jersey.
16. General
We send notices electronically, by email or in the admin. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us. You can’t assign these terms without our written consent; we may assign them, for example if VersoPro is sold. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies, and not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver. We aren’t responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises.
