Privacy Policy
Last updated October 30, 2026.
1. Who we are
VersoPro (versopro.com) provides portfolio websites and client galleries for photographers. It is run by Project Artemis LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“VersoPro”, “we”, “us”). In this policy, “photographers” means our customers and the people they add to their sites, and “clients” means people who visit or use a photographer’s site.
2. What we collect
Account information: your name or business name, email address, country, and the web address you choose. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
Content: the photos, videos, text, and settings photographers upload, and the client details they add, such as names and email addresses. Location data is removed from photos at upload unless the photographer chooses to keep it.
Client activity: the favorites, notes, and selections clients send, and messages sent through a site’s contact form.
Usage and log data: our hosting provider automatically processes standard log data, such as IP address, browser and device type, and time of access. We keep daily counts of visits, views, and downloads so photographers can see how their site is used, and a record of sign-ins and account changes for security.
Support: what you send us when you ask for help.
3. How we use it
We use this information to provide the service (hosting sites, signing people in, sending invites and contact messages, and billing), to keep it secure and prevent abuse, to answer support requests, to tell photographers about their account and changes to the service, and to meet legal obligations. We don’t sell personal information, show ads, or share data with advertising networks.
4. How we share it
We share information only:
- With the service providers that run VersoPro, such as hosting and storage, email delivery, and payment processing, and only what they need to provide the service.
- As part of how the service works, on the photographer’s instruction (for example, showing a client’s favorites to the photographer).
- To comply with the law or protect the rights and safety of others.
- In a merger, acquisition, or sale of VersoPro, subject to this policy.
5. Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering galleries you’ve unlocked. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Data retention
We keep information while a site is active, or as long as needed to provide the service. When a site closes, we keep its data for a short time so the owner can reopen it or download their work, and then delete it. We may keep some information longer to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, and we may keep totals that no longer identify anyone.
7. International transfers
VersoPro and its providers are based in the United States. If you’re elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the US, using safeguards recognized by data protection law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Security
We protect information with encryption, one-time sign-in links and codes, and separate private storage for private galleries. No method of storing or sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to some uses. Photographers can manage most of this in their admin, or can contact us at [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you’re a client, contact the photographer you worked with. We process your information on their behalf, and we’ll forward any request we receive to them.
10. Children
VersoPro is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. We’ll post the new version here with an updated date and notify photographers of significant changes.
